  • First time here and the service was excellent. I forgot to ask the baristas name, sadly, but she was friendly and helpful. The drinks we had were delicious. Definitely coming back and a great recommendation.

  • Great coffee flavor, Great staff. Never a dull moment at folklores coffee shop, you get greeted and acknowledged as soon as you walk into the establishment with smiles and excellent service. Thanks for making me feel at home and always having my drink order ready and warm. My all time fav Hot Hazelnut/Vanilla Latte

  • Definitely not your "Insta-Chic" aesthetic coffee shop. This shop definitely has darker, yet still welcoming vibes. Early in the morning (each time I've gone) they have limited staff, so BE PATIENT! The drinks are definitely worth the wait! One drink that's never failed me is the [hot] Siouxsie. I haven't tried it iced, but I guess that's an option now? [Don't come for me if it's not!] Food-wise, I had a Berry Bagel. It's quite a basic bagel, but the ingredients were good/fresh. Not ones they had in the fridge for a week. I've never experienced any issues with staff or other guests. If you like dark-aesthetic/niche shops, come on in. If you're looking for light and airy, try the coffee anyway. Just wish they had plentiful merch options.

  • Stopped by after seeing them on IG and it did not disappoint. They were open on 4th of July weekend despite the heavy rain. We absolutely enjoyed the food, the vibe, the music, the service. It is targeted for a specific demographic and they nailed it! Happy to support local businesses and our community. This place did not disappoint.

  • Can I add another 5 stars?! Atmosphere is amazing. Brought my crafting things & had a great time. Side building parking could be difficult on lunch break.

  • Wow what a great coffee shop. Def a vibe alt rock, grungy, cool, love the music and the posters and skateboards on the wall. I’m older now but enjoyed getting work done here and studying(charging plugs upstairs). The menu of coffee and specialty drinks was unique variety, the food is quality and tasty. Reminds me of die Alter Stattbahnhof in Schweinfurt Germany but as a coffee shop. The music is loud, I love studying with sound and music. But def louder than I’d prefer (I know I’m old now lol) I brought ear plugs to work and still hear stuff. I’d wish the volume was turned down a quarter knob. Obviously there is not parking which can be a concern. There is some street parking off Grayson which can be a hit or miss. A paid lot on Grayson, a small free lot in new braunfels, and some other street parking. I was worried about this but it wasn’t too bad just loop around the coffee shop and you’ll find something. As someone who loves working in coffee shops I’ll def be back
